Where is the world going? Teen couple laughing on video after killing girl’s dad, charged

Teen couple recorded a deranged cellphone video where they are laughing about killing someone and having a lot of sex after the murder. It turns out the one they really killed was the father of the girl in the video.

Now the footage is used an evidence after 18-year-old A. Guerrero and his girlfriend 16-year-old S. Halseth have been arrested and charged.

“Welcome back to our YouTube channel … Day 3 after murdering somebody …,” Guerrero, with a smirk on his face, says into the camera.

“Whoa! Don’t put that on camera,” Halseth replies while giggling.

“It was worth it,” Guerrero adds before pecking his girlfriend on the forehead.

‘This is payment for doing it’ the boy will say after they both agree how much sex they had that day. The boy later softly slaps girl’s face and puts his hand on her throat. Halseth pretended to choke before finally looking at the camera with her eyes wide, saying casually, “So, yeah.”

According to reports, the video was taken in April, just days after they allegedly killed girl’s father, attempting to dismember him and setting fire to his house. The killed the girl’s father after apparently, they were told they can no longer be together.

After the murder they left father’s house in his vehicle, but were arrested in Salt Lake City before going to California.

Police said they stabbed the father to death multiple times then they set fire to and dismember his body. The couple allegedly took his credit cards and used them later for gas and food.

The prosecutors also presented photos as evidence where the couple was buying bleach, saw, lighter fluid and gloves. They were also shown images of the blood-soaked crime scene, with knives, saws, the lighter fluid and burned material, the station said.

Both of the teenagers now face murder charges, charges of conspiracy, arson, robbery and fraudulent use of a credit card. Despite the fact the girl is just 16, she will be charged as adult. The only difference is that she can’t be sentenced to death penalty. The boy might be sentenced to death penalty as he is 18 years old.

“To have him taken from us in such a horrific, savage, senseless, and violent act of murder leaves us heartbroken, and our grief is unyielding,” the family of the girl said.

Relatives say the father was beloved and gentle person, always taking care of his daughter. The mother of the girl allegedly cut all the connections with her after she divorced her father and remarried.
