Mother warns parents as daughter ends up almost completely incapable of movement after taking drink from a total stranger while partying in a bar

It feels like yesterday and I remember very well when my parents taught me to never take any food or drink from people I don’t know whether I meet them on the street, restaurant or at a bar. This case where a teenage girl was hospitalized almost completely paralyzed after taking a drink in a bar from a stranger proves them right.

The mother of the 18-year-old Millie shared the disturbing story and uploaded a video in an effort to raise awareness of how dangerous an ordinary night out at the club with your friends might end up.

According to the mother, her daughter appeared “frozen” and “possessed” after her drink was allegedly spiked at a nightclub. She added that the teenage girl was at that state for four hours unable to walk or talk following her first night out with friends since turning 18.

The mother confirmed what the initial police report indicated that a man at the club approached the girl and offered her a vodka-lemonade drink saying “try this.” Less than ten minutes after she took the drink, she started feeling unwell and her friends rushed to the nearest hospital before losing conscious.

The incident happened in an East-England bar and the man who offered the drink to the girl was with a group of people that Millie already knew. She added that it was the only drink she had that night she hadn’t purchased. When she started feeling unwell, she knew she isn’t drunk based on the number of drinks she had that night. Something was suspicious.

Her friends decided to take her to hospital after she felt completely lost, not able to walk, talk or control her arms.

After the medical examination, doctors confirmed that the drink was spiked since two types of drugs were found in her body, “one to paralyze and one to knock her out”, hospital reports confirm.

Millie spent more than four hours at that state, but her condition improved after she received treatment from the doctors. She was discharged from hospital the next morning in stable condition.

Millie’s mother was literally destroyed since her daughter was unable to speak at all while she was hospitalized. She could barely move her hands, body and head, the mother said.

“It’s just absolutely horrendous. She looked possessed. I was numb. I was looking at her and thought, ‘what the hell have they given her’, because I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. She was completely frozen, her hands were like claws,” the mother said.

Millie told Mirror that she remembers everything from that night, but it was completely unnatural experience since she could feel her head, but not the rest of the body. She added that she remembers the person who gave her the drink and his friends who were together at the bar.

The local police informed they are investigating the case, but didn’t reveal any additional details. They took the hospital reports and Mallie’s statements into consideration and they will check the bar’s surveillance footage.

The manager of the bar has expressed his willingness to fully cooperate with the authorities in solving the case and even offered Millie extra security in case she decides to visit their bar again.
