Upper West Side in Manhattan was the area of an open shooting incident that took place yesterday in New York City. From what can be seen in the video, the scene looked like wild west movie scene.
According to police report, the incident happened in front of 210 West 103rd Street in New York City around 2:15 p.m. Thursday. Officers were immediately dispatched to the scene following the 911 shooting call.
People who reported the incident say two males were involved in the open shooting. According to their stories, numerous shots were fired between them following short confrontation on the street corner.
Shortly after the incident, a video surveillance footage was sent to the NYPD. From what is seen on the footage, both gunmen fired unknown number of gunshots in the vicinity of one another while ducking and hiding behind the parked cars down the street.
Police say one of the shooters headed southbound on Broadway after the shootout, while the other one went westbound on 103rd Street riding a go-ped-scooter.
No other details were available immediately after the incident. Police are asking for public’s help in order to locate the suspects.
Authorities were also able to provide description of the suspects. The first suspect was last seen wearing dark-colored sneakers, gray sweatpants and dark-colored sweatshirt. According to police description, he is aged 18-22, dark-skinned male, 5’8″ tall, and 130 lbs.
The second suspect is also dark-skinned male with similar description as the first male. He was last seen wearing dark-colored sneakers, dark-colored sweatshirt and sweatpants with vertical stripes.
