“What about his health? Is he healthy enough to keep up with the presidential duties?” These types of questions have been popular for some time now after many people are worried about Biden’s age and well-being.
And we probably have the right answer after White House press secretary Jen Psaki answered a question regarding recent Biden’s health condition last Monday.
Reporter asked Psaki if she could provide some information about Biden’s workout routine and if he is still using a Peloton stationary bicycle. This happened during the White House Monday’s press conference.
Psaki didn’t go into many specifics as she managed to answer the question short and clear, saying that president is in great health and physically fit. She also added that he is so fit, she sometimes can’t keep up with him:
“I can tell you, having traveled with him a fair amount, sometimes he’s hard to keep up with,” Psaki said.
Reporter’s question was inspired by the latest report from The Washington Post which revealed Biden’s daily workout routine.
It was not that long ago when Biden fell ascending the steps of Air Force One. The White House immediately said in a statement that the president was fine after all.
“I know folks have seen that President Biden slipped on his way up the stairs to AF1, but I’m happy to report that he is just fine and did not even require any attention from the medical team who travels with him,” White House communications director Kate Bedingfield said at the time. “Nothing more than a misstep on the stairs.”
While he was still on the campaign trail in 2019, Joe Biden’s campaign released an extensive medical assessment of his health. Conducted and written by Biden’s personal physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor, the summary concluded that Biden was healthy and fit to perform the duties of the presidency.
