‘I’m far in the lead for 2024 Elections’ Donald Trump claims, following the results of a recent poll

‘I’m looking at the possibility “very seriously” but “it’s a little too soon”’ this what Donald Trump said in April when he was asked by Sean Hannity if he is going to run for president in 2024.

“Are you running again in 2024? What are the odds?” Hannity asked during a sit-down interview with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.

“So, I say this. I am looking at it very seriously. Beyond seriously. From a legal standpoint, I don’t want to really talk about it yet. It’s a little too soon,” Trump answered back then.

Almost month and a half later, Trump definitely heats the things up. Again.

Recent poll results favor him in winning the 2024 Elections if current Vice President Kamala Harris is his opponent. The results of the poll were announced on May 19th and the poll was conducted by national survey research company McLaughlin & Associates.

According to the results, Donald Trump will get more than three-quarters of Republican votes, or 83% to be exact.

Even though he lost the last presidential race, Trump is still the favorite one to run the next presidential race compared to all the other possible Republican candidates. Not only that Trump didn’t lose the support after the defeat, but a slight increase in the number of people that support him is seen in the latest May results.

Compared to other possible Republican candidates in Republican primary election, Trump outperform all of them with huge, huge difference. According to the poll results, Trump would get 57% of the votes and Pence would be second with 10% of the votes. All the other candidates taken into consideration in the poll will get no more than 8%.

It’s almost certain that Trump has the Republican votes behind him. But what happens in general?

Knowing Biden’s age, many people believe Harris might take over the office before the end of the official Biden’s term which puts Harris in the pole position for 2024 Presidential race. If this scenario happens, Trump would win the race with 4% over Harris.

Following the poll results, this is what Trump had to say on his private blog Trump Desk: Interesting that today a poll came out indicating I’m far in the lead for the Republican Presidential Primary and the General Election in 2024.
