Man sets on fire ex-girlfriend’s house, arrested the same evening

Georgetown, South Carolina – One man is arrested on Saturday evening in a connection to a fire at his ex-girlfriend’s house home earlier in the evening.

According to the reports, the fire began around 7:30 p.m. Saturday night. The home is located at the Reservoir Street.

Luckily, no one was at the home at the time of the fire.

Dedrick Adams was arrested a few hours after the house fire after police found out he was connected with the fire. Adams is in Georgetown County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.

He is charged with second degree burglary and arson.
