Lost wallet or keys – we all have been in that painful situation and so did this young man from Omaha, Missouri. If feels desperate, furious and angry at the same time even though we are not able to do anything to change the loss of our items.
But there are people to prove us not everyone is the same, and the Good Samaritan in our story is one of them.
Hunter Wilson was travelling to Las Vegas for his sister’s wedding and he somehow managed to lose his wallet on his flight from Omaha to Denver with his ID, $60 in cash, a debit card and a signed paycheck.
Few days later after getting home from his trip, Hunter received a package with his wallet and letter attached.
“On our way to Vegas for my daughters wedding last week, Hunter lost his wallet,” his mother Jeannie Wilson wrote on Facebook. “Unfortunately it had $60 cash, his identification card, his signed paycheck and his debit card. Once we realized the wallet was missing, we called Frontier Airlines to see if someone turned it in. After fearing the worst that everything was gone, tonight Hunter received a package in the mail with his wallet and a letter signed with only initials. On the envelope a return address out of Omaha from Applied Underwriters. We would love to thank the individual personally if we could find him or her. Please help share this post so we can find this amazing person.”
The touching message on the letter said:
Hunter,
Found this on a Frontier flight from Omaha to Denver – row 12, seat F wedged between the seat and wall. Thought you might want it back. All the best
PS: I added some extra cash up to on even $100, so you could celebrate getting your wallet back
This is so touching – we need more people like him/her!
