Two adults and a baby found unresponsive in a vehicle in Anderson, one person pronounced dead

Anderson, South Carolina – Two adults and one-year-old baby were found unresponsive in a vehicle in Anderson Tuesday night, police confirmed.

According to the report, officers were dispatched at the scene in the Lowes parking lot in Anderson after someone spotted the vehicle with the people inside.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man, a woman and a baby unresponsive. Authorities later confirmed that the baby and the woman were alive, while the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies added that the vehicle was located at the Lowes on the Highway 28 bypass.

One deputy started CPR on the baby while the other deputy drove them in a patrol vehicle to AnMed Health. Deputies said the baby also received NARCAN.

The woman was also transferred to hospital for additional treatment, while the man was pronounced at the scene.

Authorities didn’t provide more details about what had happened.
