All Charleston veterans are now eligible for Covid-19 vaccine, Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center announced

Charleston, South Carolina – Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center today announced that all Charleston veterans are now eligible to receive the Covid-19 vaccine in their premises.

According to the announcement, all enrolled veterans of all ages could receive the vaccine. The clinic is located at 6450 Rivers Avenue.

“We are very excited to now be able to offer all of our Veterans the COVID-19 vaccine,” said Ralph H. Johnson VAMC Director and CEO Scott Isaacks. “Based on supply allocation, we are scheduling appointments week to week. This scheduling process has been working well for us and our Veterans, and we have not had to cancel any vaccine appointments.”

Veterans are now also eligible to receive the vaccine in some other cities like Myrtle Beach, Beaufort, and Savannah.

Enrolled veterans are obligated to schedule their appointment at 843-789-6900. The phone line will operate Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center has administrated more than 35,000 vaccines up to date.
